Volvo Trucks North America, Mack Trucks and Samsara, a company that develops industrial applications and services for fleets, have entered into a cooperation agreement with freight brokerage school.

Transport company owners and drivers will be able to evaluate the new solutions that will result from the joint activities of Volvo Trucks and Samsara. Thanks to the Samsara IoT platform, fleets will have access to features such as video recording of events, tracking vehicles and cargo via GPS systems, vehicle maintenance, and much more.

Ashley Murican, Marketing Specialist for Volvo Trucks North America, said the alliance will take the transportation industry to the next level. The solutions offered by Samsara will increase the efficiency, safety and environmental friendliness of carrier fleets. The company provides its services to 15 thousand customers in various fields of activity, supplying high-level software and services.

Chris Mozzocchi, director of OEM integration at Samsara, said the joint venture with Volvo Trucks will put driver safety first. Companies will work in this direction so that the final product is appreciated by drivers and fleet owners.
